Q: How do I download music from iHoneyJoo.com?
A: Every post/article has a link located at the bottom. Click the MediaFire.com/Megaupload.com link and it will open in a new window. If the link is a MediaFire.com link then click on the "Click here to download" link. Wait a few seconds and a download dialogue box should pop up asking you where to save/open the file to. Choose your destination and then click "OK" to start the download. If the link is a Megaupload.com link then input the letters/numbers into the box on the top right hand corner, followed by clicking on the "download file" button. Wait 45 seconds and then proceed by clicking on the "Regular download" button. A dialogue box should pop up after a few seconds asking you were to save/open the file to. Choose your destination and then click "OK" to start the download.

Q: Is this site completely free? What's the catch?
A: Yes! This site is completely free. There is no need to register or subscribe to this site. iHoneyJoo.com is currently supported by Google Ads. Although these do help a tiny bit with paying the monthly server bills, licenses etc, it still isn't enough. If you can, please try to donate to iHoneyJoo.com and we'll put the donation into good use i.e. paying for the server bills, updating more frequently with new content, etc.

Q: How come the file I downloaded is in a .RAR format?
A: Older albums on this site were previously compressed in the WinRAR/.RAR format. To open these files, please download and install WinRAR. WinRAR is used by millions of people around the world and we highly recommend you install it as it can do many functions WinZip does, only more.

Q: When I try to open the downloaded file, it gives me errors and doesn't extract.
A: There can be many causes for this:
1) Your file is corrupted which may of been caused while downloading it. Slower connections (e.g. dial-up) often have problems with corrupted files because the connection isn't stable enough. To fix this, try to download the file again. In most cases, this fixes the error.
2) Some of the music posted on this site contain Asian characters in the file names, e.g. Chinese, Korean & Japanese. Some file compression programs have trouble opening ZIPs/RARs with Asian characters in them. To fix this, please download and install WinRAR. This fixes the problem for file names with Asian characters.
3) If downloading & installing WinRAR is not an option, an alternate way is to rename the files. To do this, open up the Zip/RAR in your favourite file-compression program and rename each file to something without Asian characters e.g. Song01.mp3, Song02.mp3, etc.

Q: Can I register for an account on iHoneyJoo.com?
A: Yes, you can! To register, please click HERE. By registering, you have access to your very own profile, the ability to upload photos, create groups, discussions and much more!

Q: Can I donate to iHoneyJoo.com?
A: Sure! We'll accept any amount because it will help in some way with improving this website. To donate, simply click the "Donate" button on the right sidebar. This will take you to the PayPal website where you can login and input the amount to donate to iHoneyJoo.com.

Q: How long does it usually take for albums, singles, soundtracks, music video, etc to be posted?
A: The time usually varies. Albums, singles, etc usually get posted wthin the first week they are released. Sometimes they are posted on the day they are released. Just check back frequently to see if the album, single, soundtrack, etc is posted yet.

Q: I like the music I downloaded and want to purchase it. Where can I purchase it?
A: We do not sell any music but you can visit popular online shops such as YesAsia.com and Amazon.com.

Q: I requested an album/single/mp3/soundtrack/music video a while ago. How come it isn't posted yet?
A: There are many new requests each day and we can't possibly fulfill every request. We try our best to post up requests but can not guarantee all of them will be posted, sorry.

Q: I'm looking for this specific album/single/mp3/soundtrack/music video but there are too many pages to look through. How can I look for it quicker?
A: You can simply use the search feature to locate your required album/single/mp3/soundtrack/music video. The search box can be found on the top right hand side of our website (labeled "SEARCH"). Alternatively, you can visit the search page located HERE.

Hello everyone. I have been notified that some ZIP files have errors extracting due to the file names containing Korean, Chinese, Japanese characters etc. I am aware of this and am currently in the process of re-uploading all the files with those characters in the filenames. If you come across any errors while extracting files, please leave a comment on the page saying you have extracting errors so I could re-upload those as files well.

Sorry!

Also, some of the older music on this site may be in the .RAR format. To open this type of file you would need a third party application such as WinRAR. Just visit that link, download the setup and then install it. After doing so, you should be able to open .RAR files just like you would with .ZIP files. Due to the fact that some people might not have WinRAR, I started uploading all music in .ZIP archives. This was done a quite a while ago so it's nothing to be alarmed about.

Once again, sorry and thanks for visiting iHoneyJoo.com!

Hello. There have been lot's of users lately thanking me for uploading music. I am greatly satisfied from all these compliments :).

However, if you would like to help this site further, please post links to us on anywhere, e.g. forums, blogs, social network accounts, etc. This will help spread the word about our site and get us more traffic.

Thanks!

As you can see, my primary file host is MediaFire.com. I have a MediaFire Pro account which allows direct downloads. However, the bandwidth gets used up pretty quick, usually within about 1 week. All 1000GB of bandwidth gets used up in about a week which means that if you want direct downloads, then you should download the albums, osts, etc ASAP before the bandwidth runs out.

I will only be renewing the bandwidth once every month. The 15th of every month is when I'll be renewing the bandwidth so get it quickly! :).

Hope you enjoy getting your music from iHoneyJoo.com!

Thanks.

As you can see right now, there is only one section; the "Music" section. This might make finding albums/osts harder even though there is still the search feature.

What I have decided to do is the next time I upload new albums, I'll put them in new sections. The sections would be "Albums", "Official Soundtracks" and "Singles". This is to help reduce the clutter and make it easier to find music :).

All the previous albums, osts, etc will still be kept in the music section. Only the new content will be placed in the new sections.

There has been quite a large number of users emailing me asking for a forum to be implemented. At this stage, I currently do not have the funds to purchase a license for the Invision Power Board forum software. Although I could use a free bulletin board such as phpBB, many people would prefer Invision Power Board.

If you would like to help out with getting some funds to purchase a license for the Invision Power Board, please email me at (service @ ihoneyjoo.com). Any amount would be appreciated and I will try to find a way to compensate you for your great help.

Thanks!
